The best bit about a celebrant led wedding is that you don’t have to stick to any rules. You might want to, you might like the rules, but if there are some aspects of traditional weddings that you really don’t like then you really don’t have to include them .
You want your wedding in the rooftop bar you had your first date in?
At sunset because that’s your favourite time of day? Bloody love a sunset wedding, let’s do it! At the hotel where you had your first mini break? So what they don’t have a wedding licence. They won’t need it.
How do we get started?
We need to chat. Ideally we organise an initial meet up face to face that includes cake in a café or wine in a bar. Online chats over a glass of red wine work just as well though!
If you decide if I’m the right celebrant for you, I’ll send you a booking form with deposit details to set the date. We chat again to discuss more details at this point, like how you met, why you want to get married, who’s going to be at your ceremony who is important to you, any cultural aspects you want to include, what’s going to make you cringe, readings, poems , songs etc. Don’t panic about this bit, I can guide you through and give you ideas, make suggestions and I promise to always listen to what you want. Then I get all giddy as this is the point I can start to create your ceremony.
